As the home of Soul Pepper Theatre, Dancemakers Studio, The Young Centre and Tapestry, plus many more on-site arts and cultural festivals throughout the year, the Distillery District is truly a cultural hub, so it was only natural to connect the brand to an artistic powerhouse - the National Ballet of Canada. The beauty, grace and strength of some of the country's most captivating dancers become synonymous with the spirit of 31 Parliament, a place that inspires, engages, awakens and elevates the spirit.
On Pointe
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen the human body move so incredibly, so precisely and with such ease.” Those were the words of Montana Steele’s awestruck Creative Director, Andy DeSantis on the shoot for 31 Parliament. Working with renowned dance photographer, Melika Dez, we captured 7 dancers against a backdrop of green screens and downtown scenes, creating an homage to what can happen when passion drives performance.
