The Cielo brand is an artistic masterpiece with the ephemeral cloud at its core. This icon symbolizes a rare opportunity, something nearly impossible to capture, except for a chosen few. Timeless, intelligent, and cultured – the brand is a reflection of future residents of this rare Bloor Street address.
An Inspired Collaboration
To bring Cielo's iconic cloud to life we sought out world-renowned Dutch artist Berndnaut Smilde. Smilde has been creating and photographing cloud installations for over a decade, bringing hyper-realistic miniature clouds to life in factories, museums, castles and dungeons around the world, to much critical acclaim; his original photo of Nimbus resides at London’s Saatchi Gallery. The heavenly collaboration was fitting for a site set to revitalize one of Toronto’s most significant neo-Gothic structures, the revered Bloor Street United Church (BSUC), into a sleek and stylish residential tower.
