The Britt-ish Invasion

When Lanterra Developments, a Montana Steele client, envisioned a new London-themed condominium in Toronto, they decided to go the whole nine yards, or in this case, the whole 3500 miles across the pond to London, England.

So in May of 2012, the all-star team behind some of Toronto’s most iconic condominiums – Mark Mandelbaum and Barry Fenton of Lanterra Developments, Anne Lambrou of Milborne Real Estate, Andy DeSantis and Joe Latobesi of Montana Steele and Alessandro Munge of Munge-Leung Interior Design – spent over a week in London, absorbing the sights and sounds, cultures and cuisines, arts and architectures, luxury and lifestyles of, arguably, the most interesting city on the planet.

The idea was to look beyond the surface and get inspired by the finest in design, architecture and boutique luxury living that London has to offer; then apply some of those quintessential London elements to the transformation of Toronto’s legendary Sutton Place Hotel into Lanterra’s new luxury condominium – The Britt. As the curtain rings down on a timeless Toronto icon, a new chapter opens in stylish urban living, injected with new life, British inspired architecture and design. The Britt Condominiums at Bay and Wellesley will offer an exquisite selection of suites and unparalleled amenities on par with the finest luxury boutique hotels of London.
