On September 22nd 2011, as the movers and shakers in the Ontario home building industry gathered to honour the year’s most outstanding work, Lora Bay walked away with the Ontario Home Builders’ Association’s Low-rise Community of the Year Award. Considered one of the most prestigious awards in the country, the OHBA Awards represent the pinnacle of talent and quality in the industry.
When it comes to accolades, this year has been exceptional for Lora Bay. Earlier in the year, Lora Bay won the coveted BILD Award for the Best Low-rise Sales Office. Before that, Lora Bay picked up a Gold and three Silver awards at the National Association of Home Builders Awards ceremony in Orlando. And in December of 2010, Sherwood Homes (a division of Reid’s Heritage Homes who’s currently building in the community of Lora Bay) won the AVID Award for Best Customer Experience in North America.
